The Ultimate Ocean Safari !
The best time to see and swim with orcas and mobula rays varies throughout the season.
🐋 For a 99% chance of swimming with orcas, we highly recommend booking two consecutive tours. Our expeditions run from May through August, offering the best opportunities to encounter not just orcas, but an incredible diversity of marine life—including sperm whales, blue whales, dolphins, sea lions, mobula rays, manta rays, and more!
We never know exactly what each trip will bring, but we maximize your chances by deploying two spotter planes daily to scan the ocean for wildlife. Think of this as the ultimate ocean safari!

What Happened in 2025?
This season brought some of the most unusual summer weather we’ve seen in 15+ years of operating in Baja. June, in particular, was marked by hurricane-force winds, which significantly impacted our spotter plane operations. The aerial team plays a vital role in locating orca, and choppy water makes it difficult for spotting.
This was not a reflection of a lack of orca presence in the region — but rather of the unique weather anomalies that disrupted our ability to find and get close to them safely.
